My jib on my Chrysler Buccaneer has come detached. How do I re-attach?

You might want to check out the yahoo group and ask the question there. I believe they came with a small furler that the sail luff wire clips to on the roller, and a swivel at the masthead.

You may have lost the hardware that attaches the luff wire eyes to these parts. You will need some shackles.

Check out the brand name of the furler you have and check out their information e.g. harken
 
This is a roller furled jib. This boat is new to me. There was some masking tape at the top and bottom of the jib. Now I now what it was used for. Is there a better solution than masking tape? Thanks for your help.
