my jeeps stero wont turn off?

its a jeep liberty sport lifted three inches and i just got it today the year is 2002 and it has not been in any crashes and i bought from the dealer and i went for a late stroll in it and i came home with my family and when i turned off the car the stero was on playing music and i tuned off the jeep and it wont turn offf?? whats going on and please no answers like oh its a zombie

well it could be a few things possibly some car come with radios that will stay on until the drivers door is opened or another thing is if it's an aftermarket radio/cd player that didnt come stock with the jeep they may have wired it so the radio will have constant power i would say take it back to the dealer or have a stereo shop check out the issue hope this helps
