my jeep squeaks a lot?

whenever i sit in it, and sometimes when i drive underneath it squeaks.

could this be a lack of lubing the chassis?

could be but that sounds like your bushings are worn

Yeah, probably just metal on metal rubbing together at a pivot point. Best bet is to get a friend to help you - one moves the car around while the other tries to pinpoint the squeak. Take a can of wd-40 and sray the heck out of the sqeaky spots. If its at a grease fitting point, use a grease gun to lube it up.
