I think, the noise is faint...? the noise is faint after beginning driving, but at start up it is a loud whining, scraping sound. I listened to it with the hood up and I could not tell if it was coming from the steering pump maybe? or the alternator....it goes almost completely away after driving for a minute. I have noticed the normal power steering noise is sometimes slightly louder when turning, but not much.I checked the PS fluid level and had to add a little. Anyone dealt with this?
