I recently put a dana 44 rear axle in my 94 jeep cherokee. The guy I bought it from has a couple cherokee's and said the gear ratio is close enough that it shouldn't make a difference. So last night i put it in 4x4 high to test it out and it worked normaly but after i took it out it seemed to turn like I was some what in four wheel drive. I played with the linkage on the transfer case and it still seems that my jeep is partially in four wheel drive
