I have a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee that I bought about a month ago, I love the vehicle, but this morning (5am) the alarm was activated and woke me up. I park on the street but can see my vehicle from my window. I ran to get my keys and turn off the alarm, but when I hit the alarm button on my remote, all it did was make the horn honk twice as fast! I tried to keep turning it off, but it would just cycle the horn speed from either once every second or two times a second. It eventually turned off on its own after I ran in to my room to put some clothes on to deal with it.
Anyone here know how to turn off the alarm faster? I'm a heavy sleeper, so I'm sure most of my neighbors were woken up too :-/
