20 or so miles on a hot day.? I previously posted a question about why my Jeep was missing and cutting out but easily started and with no code. I did get an answer from silver and I'm hoping he will see this again. While I was driving on a hot day after several miles my front brakes started to slow me down. The further I went the worse they got. When I applied the brakes they were pumped to the top, pulled over to check. Both brakes were hot and right side was smoking. Cooled for a half hour, went on the road about 3 miles to home with no problem. Next day went to store (12 miles) with no problem. Pedal was back down to normal, I saw no fluids around pads. Could this be a problem with the ABS? Or associated with a problem with the computer? Does the computer control the ABS system? Keep in mind the cutting out still there. It was like something pumped the brake pedal tighter then a drum.
My Jeep AGAIN. My front brakes are locking up but only after I drive for awhile,
