My itouch shows the apple that its turning on then it turns off, and it wont

show up on itunes. what do i do? So, my itouch will turn on and show the little apple Symbol, like it does when you turn it on. Then it doesn't even get to the screen that says slide to unlock....it doesn't even get to that and it turns off again. Then I will get my USB cord and plug it into my computer, and into my itouch. It does the same thing and it doesn't even show up on itunes!!! Everyone tells me to restore it, but I can't even get to doing that when it doesn't appear on the itunes menu bar! Someone please help me!!!!
I have left it on the charger for quite a while...and it's not that old...got it after last christmas...but i'll try the wall charger thing again...thanks!
 
my ipod did that too. i would suggest getting a wall charger and just leaving it on that for a while. it worked for me. and then in a few weeks you may have to leave it on for like two days again. but you may want to start saving for a new one if its oldish. if its like less then 1 and 1/2 years old and what i sed before doesnt work, go to the apple store and see what they can do,.
