i have an ipod touch 2nd generation and itunes 8.0 in windows xp. it was syncing well and when i plug it in theres a battery sign to show that its charging. but after about a year or so when i tried to open itunes it kept saying that there was an error. so i unistalled itunes 8.0 and installed itunes 10. but now when i plug my ipod in it wont charge or show up on itunes!
do i need to reinstall it back to itunes 8.0? and how do i do it without losing my music and movies? people tell me to copy the file and paste it when i install the new version but how do i exactly copy the file? where do i copy it?
im not too good with computers so please explain in detail
