MY IPOD TOUCH 4G IS STUCK IN RECOVERY MODE!!!!!!?

I have a ipod touch 4g and its stuck in recovery mode... and it shows the apple logo and the sync cable...
I dont know how to exit out of it.. i even tried holding the lock button and the home button at the same time but it didnt work! please help me! :(
 
Gonna have to restore thru itunes, or jailbreak with Redsn0w to get ipod working, THEN restore it.
