My Ipod Isn't Working Pls Help?

I have an Ipod 6g and i downloaded the new update IOS 1.1 when i downloaded and resumed with it. It said extracting software and after it restarted. it said ipod in recovery mode. then it said press restore for ipod. i did it .and it said it again. and i did it again and it said do it again. pls help
