My iPhone's silence switch won't work. When I switch it nothing happens. A while back when it was jailbroken I was experimenting with auto silence apps (jailbreak apps only) but they didnt work so I deleted them. Then one time I accidentally updated my phone to 4.1. Now I can't get it jailbroken but that's not the point. For a long time, my phone would randomly unsilence itself, display a bell, then silence itself again, vibrating at the end. This would be very annoying as it would often vibrate 10 times in a few seconds. I just ignored it. Now however the silence switch wont work at all. I've tried reseting iphone (hold down lock/home). I want to know if this problem could be caused by me jailbreaking it, because if I decide to take it into the apple store, I don't want them to find out I once had it jailbroken. Also, if anyone has any solutions to the problem, I would be glad to hear them. Thanks, me.
