My Iphone cannot sync with my new laptop as it was was originally on my husbands pc

My husband bought me a laptop for my birthday recently and up until then I had used his to open up Itunes library as my primary source for my Iphone. just recently he had a virus on his PC and he's just informed me that he deleted Itunes! Now I'm having problems syncing anything between my own laptop and Iphone as it keeps telling me that my ITUNES library is elsewhere and will not allow me to sync or download my purchases to my Iphone. Please can anyone help!
