My iPhone buttons won't work?

I left my phone charging last night, and woke up with it on the floor. It seemed to be fine (no scratches etc.) but I unlocked it and I can't lock it, change volume, and the silent/vibrate switch isn't working.
If it matters:
iPhone 3GS
3.1.4
Had a hard case on when it apparently fell.
