I have an iPhone 3GS. I recently just updated my phone to with the newest update..I think 4.2 iOS or maybe just 4.1 iOS. Not sure..anyways, there are 3 different computers that we have iTunes installed on..two PCs and one Mac. We have gone through all the steps www.apple.com has told us to go through. We've uninstalled iTunes and re-installed it. Nothing is working. We've tried the plug into different USB ports and restarted the computers and the phone...nothing has really helped. Apple has told me if I want any further help that I will need to pay for a single issue fee or AppleProtection. Which Apple Protection is a little too expensive for my taste. It's simply outrageous that they've sent out an update which messed up my phone and now they want me to pay to get it resolved..I don't understand. My mom's phone has been having the same problem.
All of the computers are also the latest version of iTunes..
The Mac has been recently purchased and the first few times I plugged in my phone, I finally had the relief of it recognizing my phone, and now again it does not.
