My internet comes from an ethernet line not a phone line, how do i connect it to

OK - you want wireless but you already are on a wired system
What you need is a wireless access point
If you also want a wired connection available you will need a switch as well

Your system should look like this

Cat 6 Wall plug >> switch LAN Port
Switch LAN port >> Computer
Switch LAN Port >> Wireless access point

my adsl wireless modem?
Its one of those high rise apartments and the isp hands it out on ethernet ports. I just want to turn that into wireless using and asl model or something
