My in-laws are sick- they don't wash their hands properly- how can I protect myself?

My In-laws are sick- we live in the same household. What can I do to protect myself?

My pop-in-law likes to cough and not bother covering his mouth, etc. They also don't care for washing their hands.

What can I and my wife do to not get sick?
 
Wear overalls, face shields and gloves. Drink tonic to enhance your immune system.
