taxes again.? Crazy? Why? after somebody serves in the US military and is activated into the field of battle, i think they and their family deserve tax amnesty for their willingness to defend the country. It could realistically be worked out. agree? disagree?
I honestly don't know how unrealistic that is....Look at the enormity of the Health care bill we're about to pass; that dwarfs something like this.

USAfis - i hear your point and it's sad that it's probably a very good one (regarding protecting the military from law suits). Also, it's hard to argue with you, as you seem to have first-hand military experience. But the honest truth is, if someone is enlisting and being deployed into the field of battle, i think that's long past the point of abusing the proposed tax benefit....they're serving...and there will always be more cream to rise to the top with each new year; as well as the shleps who would just be in for 4 years and nothing more....you have me thinking on it, though....thnx for your thoughts....and your service.
