My i335 Boost Mobile phone isn't receiving texts?

Ive had my i335 phone for a while and its never had this problem before, i cant receive texts from people, if i turn it off and back on it will show me the texts, but i don't want to half to turn my phone on and off every time i want to see if someone sent me a message, please help if you anything about how to fix it
