My husband and I aren't doing so great and I think we might get a divorce. When we first got married he bought me a new car specifically for ME. However the loan is in his name. I made sure the title went in both of our names as well as putting my name AND his that way it's not OR so he couldn't sell it without me.
He's military and I don't work so he's basically been paying it the past couple years. If we divorce can he still take the car even though it was bought for me?

With a good lawyer, you could argue that it was a gift and therefore belongs to you. Without one, though, he could probably take it if it's in his name.
