I have a 2 year old miniture mare. she is nice to my mom and dad I mean a angle! but she hates me! I used to try disipleneing by hitting her but I realized that never works. I started trying so natural horseman ship meatheds ... NOPE! so then I just started lounging her for 5-10 mins at a time calling her into me and petting her ect. about 3 months ago she reared for the first time it was out of the blue while I was trying to get her halter on then agian when I was lounging and agian when I was grooming. I tryed to jump out of the way and stop it at at the same time ... that didnt work so I tryed slapping her ... I tryed controler halters ... now its getting worse she is lounging at me teath bared and striking out with her hooves! when I tell me parents they look at me and if the dont ignore me they say "let me see" and walk out and watch and of course she is a angle then. but tonight when I was feeding her I went to put her in the front pen (I have to separte me horses to feed them) I was walking normaly and BAM! she started raring stricking and baering her teath at me she was all the way up at face leavle and was heading at me face! (shes 36 in. at the withers) she scared the HELL out of me I ran to the closest thing (monkey bars) and climbed to the top step while I watched her crash into the ladder agian and agian trying to get me. I am so scared! I was shaking. I tryed talking to them they just look at her then look at me and go hes to sweet to do that! Ihave been asking to sale her for months now but thewy drag out the quistins about who is going to keep my other horse company .. blah blah blah ect. I'm like I'll go and by another one! I bought this mare with my money I think I have the right to sell her. and Im not paying for training beacuse I see no since in it if I could sale her!(im 14 year old girl, and 5'8 btw) and i am pissed off like crazy! if somthing dosnt change soon eather me or her are going to get siriusly hurt!(hope you can read his im still shaking from tonight and my black crushed finger she gave me ... plus spell check isnt working ...)
