My honda civic shuts off while driving down the road (NEED HELP)?

I have a 1998 Honda Civic Lx . It starts perfect when the engine is cold but when it warms up sometimes it shuts down. When I put on reverse or to drive it shuts down. Then i have to crank like 5 times to start it again and now the check engine light is on. I think it is OXYGEN SENSOR but im not sure. So any body know whats the problem NEED HELP
