My Honda Accord Lx 1997 does not have the same power to the gas pedel like it did...

...before i over heated it? I over heated my car 4 days ago and white smoke came out cuz i didnt have any water in my radiator then i added it and it started up and worked for a day then my check engine light came on and every since then the power in my gas pedel wont go fast like it use to. my engine slowly has to speed up it wont take off if i try my RPMs go up i think its my Head Gasket nothing else is wrong with it before i blew it so do you think it could be my head gasket but he oil and water havent mixed yet but is that because its not that big of a blow out
 
probably is ur head gasket....so...STOP DRIVING ur car till u get it fixed....unless of course u got money laying around for a new motor.....also small possibility that u clogged ur catalytic converter.... but head gasket more likely......unless u have luck like me and its both....but good luck and get it fixed
