i'm using a small convectional oven to bake a normal cheese pizza using wheat pizza dough (bought from the store), tomato paste, and shredded cheese. After setting the oven to the directed 450 degrees, i put in the 7-8' pizza for 10 minutes. But, after the time is up and i take it out and eat it, the center of the pizza is.....chewy.....and it look damp......what am i doing wrong? Did i prepare the dough improperly? I'm using a regular pan to bake this.
like, the outside of the pizza looks pretty dry like regular pizza looks but when u go to the center, the middle of the bread looks soft and dark like its damp and when you bite into it, its chewy...
