My guy wants to talk till late night,what should i do?

He loves to text me and wants to do it till really late at night,like 2 in the morning but i prefer not to!!!He got angry last night,it's not like i have to study at night it's just that i don't like it at night!!!
He knows my whole family is cool with it,he just says that he feels real nice texting me!!!
