so i was bought an electric guitar. i've never played guitar before. as soon as a sat down and used my picking hand, the next day my arm/wrist felt tight, why is this?
It must be the way your holding your wrist while strumming. I get pain as well sometime but not in that hand.... or Lord knows your back..... Are you sure it's guitar related? Maybe it's something else your doing... unless your just playing that much...... If thats the case you'll get use to it.
