My gold fish acts all crazy and runs away when i get close to the tank?

...It doesn't seem to be very happy, because there isn't another fish in the tank with him. Im planning to buy the same species of goldfish later on this week. This goldfish has lived the longest in the tank, all the other ones died. My fish is very aggressive. I just gave it a new home too.
