Ok, so my girlfriends laptop fell off her dresser and hit the floor while it was on. The screen was ok besides a few cracks and chips off the casing. After picking it up, it was still on and running fine so i put it to sleep and closed it. But when I opened it and turned it back on it started to load but after about 20 minutes of waiting it was still stuck on the "Microsoft Corporation" screen. I turned it off and turned it back on and pressed F12 to go to the boot options menu. I went down and ran the diagnostics test for her laptop and everything passed for the memory. When I performed an Extended Test, I got the following: Error Code:0F00:1344 Msg: DISK - Block 14812454: Can't Read. Replace Disk. I also got the same message with a different block number many more times. She has a Dell Inspiron with Windows Vista Basic. What do you think the problem is and how could I go about resolving it? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
