My girlfriends 1999 Ford Taurus Se DOHC won't start?

Battery seems fine cause lights work great When I try to start it it acts like it wants to turn over but wont Its at 167,000 miles a day before it stop starting it would start but sound like it was choking ? there was a lean sensor code a month ago but mechanic said it was ok ?
any suggestions or advice thank you
 
Taurus was bad for small wire to starter. this will most likely fix the problem if it does not crank. If it cranks in neutral but not in park it needs a neutral safety switch.
