like the title said she shows no affection towards me and i don't know what i should be doing to help
ok some information...
we have been dating for about 20 months now and we have almost no intimacy in our relationship. we're both 18 and this is our first ever relationship but this has been a problem for me for the past year. we do have some in the form of light petting every 3 or so months and its always initiated by me never by her(plus it always feels like she's forcing it just to make me happy) but this just doesn't feel like its enough for me, i want to go further but at the moment i would just be happy to get more of that at this point. every time i make an advance at her she rejects me claiming that she's not in the mood, this has me questioning whether she feels anything for me in a physical way. i've spoken with her about this many times before and she says she's not ready for anything further and that she will take more initiative but she never follows through with her promises. its not like im a bad bf or just want sex i love her with all my heart and try and show it every chance i get by complimenting her, buying her gifts and standing by her when she has had problems. she says that she loves me and then what seems like tries to guilt me byapologizingg for being a bad girlfriend(when i say she's not she just moves on with another topic automatically) but i just don't feel like she means what she's saying. she's a relatively shy girl but never around me because she talks about sex and makes jokes about it openly. we have a great relationship otherwise with same interests, hobbies etc. which i love but this problem is ruining it for me. but anyway sorry if its a bit jumbled but its driving me up the wall and any help would be appreciated
