My girlfriend of 5 years stopped having sex with me?

My girlfriend and I have been together for 5 years and our sex life has never been what I expect it to be (for lack of a better term) . Previously we would have sex one to two times a week and it always seemed as though it was a chore to her to have sex with me, unless she was drunk or in a party mode. Dont get the picture that she is a party animal, not by any means but if we were partying she would be right into it. Two months ago her brother died and now sex is completely not a part of our relationship. I understand that she is mourning the loss of her brother, and I am willing to give her all the time she needs to get back to normal, but I think that after not having it for so long she is getting comfortable with it and I'm afraid that we will lose that part of our relationship completely. Even if it goes back to what it was I still dont find that sufficient. We are in our mid 20's so drive isnt really an issue for me. Could it be an issue for her at this young age? Any other opinions on the situation?
 
Sometimes I can feel the same way with my boyfriend, I just dont get turned on like I use to but then again he doesnt take the time to turn me on like he use to. Its annoying for a guy to just say wanna have sex? or to just kiss a little somewhere and expect a girl to just get turnde on like that, i know for most guys thats all it takes, but we are women. Try doing something different, Buy some rose petals and candles lead the petals from front door to bedroom and on bed with petals draw a big heart! or if she is more of a kinky type surprise her one night with a strip tease. I would start of with something romantic though cause of the whole death issue. and if you really wanna butter her up before just send her some flowers to work or at home and on note say just because i love you. And if all else fails try talking to her mayber its not even you maybe somethign is going on and she is embarassed. hope it helped. Good luck...
