I starting my own graphic design business back before I was divorce and it didn't really go far. Since my ex-wife had cheated on me and took my 4 kids, I had nothing. I'm paying child support every month now for 4 years. My current girlfriend now is a very talented graphic designer who wanted to work with me. Do to my finical situation I could no longer take care of my own business. So I sold my work, business and logo to her, since I have establish customer already. Since then, she's been doing really well and offer to hire me as an assist. to help manage her new office. My question is that, can my ex-wife try to take her small business away from her for child support, considering I use to own it and the business is getting better. Let along I'm working there too now. Can she said this was all plan out by me and the girlfriend as a way of not paying so much child support. I don't know if changing the logo and name of her business will help save her or not.
p.s I'm still doing my part in paying child support every month.
