Nursing is in high demand. Business degrees are good such as accounting, marketing, etc. She should ask her counselor in school what's in demand in your area or wherever you want to live together in. They are very helpful and you pay them from your tuition- they are basically being paid to sit down and do nothing if you don't take advantage in your community college. Going to a 4 year college would be better for her as she doesn't have to transfer out. If she is already there that is fine but if she is just entering college, it is better to pay that one school you want to go to to get her bachelors. I find a lot of 2 year associate students get out of school either 1. doing a mediocre part time job and continuing it 2. still not knowing what they want because they just took liberal classes 3. not wanting to go get the BS because they feel they're done with college. Make sure to stick to your goals.
