...vietnam vets hiking? through the bush. what could they do to prepare for an extremely long hike (from about 100 miles to around 500 miles) through the bush and off trail? what should they learn about roughing it in the bush, living off the land, about hiking, about the gear and rucksack (also packing it), about self defence and what ever else they need to learn? what kinda physical training should they do to prepare for the trip? if you where to layout a training schedule for them, what or how would it be laid out?
