My Gameboy DS wont charge?

For some reason, my gameboy DS won't charge. I tried almost all the switches in the house, and it wont charge. the orange light doesnt come on when i plug the charger in. Is there something wrong with the DS, or am i using the wrong kind of charger? It says C Adapter or something like that on the charger...i dont know where my original charger is. could that be the wrong charger? Please help! Thanks :]
 
Looks like your going to have to send it back top the company.. The best bet is to call nintendo.. The number is located on the back of the ds on a sticker... If the sticker is missing the number is 18002553700 When i called due to my pokemon games freezing the guy i spoke with was 100% helpfull in determinig the problem, also had to call about the touch screen not working they just send you a new one
 
That's what happend to my brothers DS.Try not playing it for a while then try again.
 
I have a DS and I hate when this happens...
The charger may be for a different Nintendo Device. If your DS doesn't have any energy left at all, it might be that it doesn't have the power to turn the light on.
