i can't fucking stand it anymore, my backs been bothering me for like 4 months now and i can't remember hurting it. today i went to sit in my car and basically screamed as it cramped up, i can barely sit down without it hurting. i'm lying on my belly its the only position that doesn't kill.
its a fucking pain in the ass because my professors think i have ADD because i can't sit still i continuluslly attempt to stretch it out.
sorry had to get that off my chest...maybe i should see a chiropractor instead of whining but then i wouldn't be able to play lacrosse.

Did you try flipping your mattress? It might not be that you can't remember it, because you pretty much arent concious while its happening. Same thing was happening to me, and I flipped my mattress, and it fixed it nicely.

Go see a doctor. If you've been having back pain for four months, then there's definitely a problem.

I've had constant back pain for a few months now, and it turns out that the pain is a result of a sacral fracture, a torqued pelvis, my spine being out of alignment, and the muscles in my back being inflamed.

A chiropractor may not be the best choice unless you know for a fact it is a skeletal issue, and not muscular or something else. Chiropractor are not doctors, and the philosophy of their practice is to concentrate on patient wellness and prevention.
Since you already have an injury, you should see a regular doctor, if it is a sports related injury, don't you access to an athletic trainer who can start the process or steer you in the right direction?

That just sounds like a bitch. But yeah, you need to see a doctor man. There really isn't a point in going to a chiropractor because if they help you, then it won't be helping you in the long run. Putting it off longer will only make it worse.

Muscle spasm maybe?

My boyfriend had one at work a few days back and his whole lower body went numb and he collapsed. Doctor gave him some painkillers to take whenever he feels another one.

I had back pain for 3 years, very similar to yours. I went to see a local chiropractor, who spent a hell of a lot more time with me than my other doctor. He checked me out to make sure nothing else was causing my back pain, like x-rays and do some other tests. He found that it was caused by stiff joints in my low back, causing my muscles to spasm. Over a course of 6 weeks of treatment I was fixed, and have never looked back. I would recommend a chiropractor any day. You'll regret you didn't do it sooner.

Sweety, that was good advice, however if you look at the top left corner of every post, there is a date. This thread is over two years old. Thank you for making a good contribution tho!

Also: chiropractors are witch doctors. ;)
