I know its common for my generation to think their life sucks. I have a couple of friends who drive me CRAZY because they always complain about how awful their life is! I know their life could be soo much worse, and they are lucky to live in a home that has heating and cooling, and have a family that loves them. ( I'm going to call one of them Grace.) I have a friend named Grace and all she does is complain about how her life sucks. It seriously gets on my nerves. We are always having friendly arguments, and i've told her before that things could be so much worse. She also is always ragging on how awful everybody is to her, and I know people who have lived through so much.
My other friend is extremely sheltered and lives far away from here. I love them to death, but I'm so tired of it. They are very sensitive and kind.
Sorry about the rant. But how can I get across how annoyed I am to Grace, and how can i say gently to my other friend- that things could be much worse? Does anybody else feel this way too? Is it just the way of my generation to complain and not be grateful?
Oh, and Grace can also be offended easily if you are not careful. I need to be delicate and whatever I say.
