...mandated by the FDA? The company he works for manufactures and packages OTC products such as cough syrup, shampoo, and other items. He said that the powers that be had all of the floor fans removed but they never gave any reason for it. Nothing was posted on the bulletin board and nothing in writing has ever been produced to offer a satisfactory answer except that the Food and Drug Administration was responsible. My friend and several of his co-workers say that even though the building is air conditioned, it is so big that it gets very hot in the summertime. They are of the opinion that the management took the fans away to save on electricity. Has anyone else heard of this mandate of removing fans that supposedly blows dust everywhere, even though it is a very clean building and environment, or are they right that the management is just padding their profits while the employees burn up in the summer?
