i have no idea what brand or anything all i know is that he bought it on ebay and it is a mp4. it is a touch screen. he just gave it to me and it wont unlock please help me!!

my friend locked it. he gave it to me and now i need to figure out how to use it. and i did plug it up to my pc and i reset it.
