type of disorder? I know this girl, and she seems to be a bit of an attention whore. She wears revealing clothes, flirts with everyone, makes drama, and tends to be very self-centered and full of herself. She literally says that everyone thinks she's hot. I've known her for a couple years, and ever since I've known her she always seems to be either injured or have something medically "wrong" with her. It's very hard to believe, because of the way she just blurts it out to everyone, and because of how often it is, and frankly just how ridiculous it sounds. She often has some sort of brace on her leg, or bandages on her arm, or a broken finger, things like that. But she also claims to have a lot of "illnesses." Recently she came to school, looking perfectly fine, and told some boy in a loud voice that she had just been diagnosed with cancer and diabetes, hadn't eaten in five days, and had lost five pounds. I for one find this extremely difficult to believe.
She also claims to have surgeries about every two months for things completely unrelated or unspecified. She told the same boy that her parents hated her and abused her, by pulling her from her hair or burning her or kicking her, however she shows no real signs of abuse, always has expensive clothes, expensive acrylic nails, dyed hair every month, etc.

Point is, I feel that she is lying and making up things to gain sympathy or attention. It's been getting to the point where I swear it's a new thing every week, and I'm wondering if it could constitute as perhaps some form of anxiety, or OCD, something like that.

Opinions?
