My friend just told me that a job wouldnt hire her because she's pregnant

she cant afford a lawyer ..? What are her options? thats discrimination right there..
And the job she applied for was talking ont he phone selling vitimins to businesses or what not so it wasnt even like it was a hosting job at a restaurant like the job i have.
