My friend is having an indoor wedding at an art gallery and she wants to

have bbq chicken and pork...? The wedding is for 150 people. I need to order it from a restaurant. Do I just tell them that I need bbq chicken and pork for 150 people? My friend cant afford a caterer so this is kind of a DIY thing. What kind of price estimate do you think I would get?

Don't mention that it's for a wedding. If they ask, it's for a family gathering.

In my area, bbq from a restaurant (catering style) is going to run you around 6-12 dollars per person. So, you're going to run around 2,000 for food.

I would not tell them its for a wedding. it automatically jumps the price like an extra 10 bucks a person. Its kind of BS compaines take advatage of people because of this
