My friend loves her TV, Ive known her since we were kids. Shes quiet and doesnt socialize much. I'm a shiftworker, as is she, and on certain nights of the week if we meet , she often uses TV as an excuse not to see me on that night, or will cut short our meeting. She'll say ''sorry NCIS is on I have to be home by 830, I cant miss NCIS"
(or whatever program is on..)
This is so frustrating.. Yes we all like our TV programs! and i understand TV is good to watch, but.. as I and she work shifts sometimes the only time I can see her is when her TV is on. I would never say to her, or anyone " sorry I have to be home at 7pm as **** is on TV" Friends and socializing are important, esp. with shift work.. And what about dvds or online watching?!
Should I say somehting to her ,if she says it again next time we meet up and she has to rush off to watch " House"? i feel like im second best to TV!
what to say so as not to upset her? shes a good friend..
shes needs to be around people too, not just her TV.!. Shes a super super sensitive person, very easily offended.,
