My four year old says that he is seeing flashing lights in his head.

He has had a cold and cough off and on for weeks. About a week and a half ago, he said that his head was blinking. I wasn't sure what that meant. He fell asleep for a good part of the afternoon into the night. Later, he said that he meant he saw flashing lights in his head, it has happened several more times, at least once a day. I pulled a deer tick off of him a few weeks ago and because I said that he must have gotten it that morning, the pediatrician said that he couldn't contract lyme disease in less than 24 hours. I am not convinced, nor am I sure that it wasn't there longer. He is a little more tired than usual too. Of course, as a mom that loves her kiRAB more than anything, this scares the hell out of me. I have thought of everything from migraines to brain tumor.

Please share with me if you have any experience with this. What did it end up being?
