My former friend dropped my bike and said he would pay but now he won't. Can I sue?

I would like to file a small claims file but I would like to know if I have a case. If course I told him you break it, you buy it right before he rode it if that makes a difference. I sure did learn my lesson. Do I have a case?
It is a Motorcycle a Kawasaki zzr600
 
if by bike you mean motorcycle.. then yes.. and when you sue you can also sue for the amount of court costs.. and most of the time you don't even need a lawyer.. just fill out a complaint and do it.. if the damage is significant.. I totally think it's worth it..
 
is it really worth your money and time to go to court over a bike? i dont think so.
