My Ford Tauras (2002) warning lights come on and off suddenly, but car works just

fine after that.? This has happened twice for now. Suddenly while I am driving I see that the warning lights just glow up for a second and go off the next, the car also makes a sound like some tire burst or something. And next moment my car runs just fine. not sure whats wrong.

Asked teh mechanic and he said he would take time to diagnose and replicate the problem bla blabla.I recently had this mechanic change my cars rack and pinion and that wasnt a good experience.

Anyone faced something like this before?
 
could be a fouled spark plug causing a misfire. Try ching your spark plugs. Its cheap and you can do it your self. But make sure you know what tourq to tighten them to and the correct gap of the plug.
