I hadn't had any problems or signs of transmission problems prior to this. I was backing down a declining driveway, when i reached the curb with my front tires i gave it gas to get out of the gutter and it slipped out. It still gets into and drives great in all the other gears. When i bring the shift arm into reverse it wont even go into the designated slot (reverse). It sits on top of where the slot would be. I'm hoping for the best but shoot me strait.
My ford explorer wont shift into reverse, but all forward gears work just fine?
