My Ford Explorer just quit running. It has no lights or radio or power of any kind...

...and doesn't try to start.? There were no problems prior to this. I put the battery on a charger and it reads fully charged. I was told if it were the ignition switch I should still get basic things like lights and the radio. Could it be a main fuse or does anyone know any thing I could do to diagnose the problem?
