I have been on campus all day working on various projects, and without warning one of the computers I was working on shut of. I cursed, I swore, I turned it back on - but now my flash drive, which was plugged in to the computer and has all my work from today on it, won't connect to any of the computers I have tired. At this point, I have checked it on 2 laptops and 3 PCs, and it just doesn't show up. There is a small red light on the end of my flash drive which usually turns on when it connects to a computer, and it won't turn on now. All my work from today is on my flash drive, and while I'm usually good about moving information between my flash drive and home computer right away, but since I haven't returned home today I never had the chance. The only thing I can come up with is putting the drive back in to the computer and restarting it, but since the computer was a rental and I had to return it I don't know how likely I am to find it again.
I DESPERATELY need this information back - I put 10 hours of work into my projects, and simply have not allotted myself the time to re-do every project I have assigned to me. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you so much in advance!!!
