My flash drive isn't being read!?

I have a Transcend JF v30/2GB flash drive. A few days ago, the flash drive was being read just fine. But now, when I plug it in, it does not appear in "Computer" when I go to open the files. It'll have a blue light flashing, so I know it's plugged in properly, but the device can't be found.

Help?
 
this may be caused by damage to the FlashDrive , or the actual Port, this happened with my old laptop, try and plug it in another USB Port (or on another computer), if that dosent Work, then there's something wrong with the FlashDrive
